Audriana looked at him, then turned her back to him, trying to come up with some way to get out of the place. She couldn’t see anything besides the stars. She blinked back the tears that threatened to release in front of this stranger. Amazed at her own holding power, she turned toward him and demanded to be released. He just stared at her with a soft smile, as if he was in the presence of a small child.
